    Millionaires throughout the world

    What is your brand potential with millionaires and Next Generation HNWIs?

    Millionaires, or high net worth individuals (HNWIs), are one of our core target groups in Switzerland – and in key markets such as the United Kingdom, Germany, Singapore, Hong Kong and the United Arab Emirates. With our local partners we reach millionaires and future HNWIs in many other global markets as well.

    We launched the Swiss HNWI Monitor in 2010 to throw light on the attitudes and behavior of Swiss millionaires, and since then we have conducted this study every six months. Since 2019 it also covers the next generation of HNWIs, i.e. potential future millionaires with high incomes and growing wealth.

    The Swiss HNWI Monitor, which we offer as a multi-client study, addresses the following topics:

    • the profile, attractiveness and image of 14-16 leading (Swiss) banks
    • market positioning vis-à-vis their most important competitors (benchmarking)
    • market potential (non-clients considering a brand)
    • the characteristics of people who find a brand attractive (affinity profile)
    • general trends among the (future) affluent population (e.g. readiness to switch banks, financial expertise, online trading, interest in robo-advice)

    Asset management target groups are not often at the focal point of market research. They are with us, though: independent asset managers, large companies (with their own treasury functions), insurers and pension funds are responsible for investments worth hundreds of billions – and it is the end consumer whose interests they serve. That’s why we use quantitative and qualitative methods to open up these target groups for you.

    Are you an asset manager or a custodian bank? Then institutional investors such as pension funds, independent asset managers or banks and insurance companies are part of your core target group.
